I've been using the Model B setting of the Beeb core for a few weeks now which I'm fine with as I used to have a Model B when I was a kid. I never owned a Master and I'm having a look round in the Master Shadow RAM setting but I'm confused. According to the user guide pt2, every mode should give a HIMEM value of &8000 in Shadow mode, but I'm getting the Model B values except in Mode 7 where I am getting &8000.
Am I doing something wrong? I would say do I have to put it in 'Shadow Mode' beyond selecting the setting in the core menu, but then why do I get the correct HIMEM value in Mode 7?
