Is there a setting to hide the rom loading progress bar?

Unread post by netbeui »

I searched but couldn’t find whether or not this can be done.. is it possible to hide the little progress indicator when a rom is loaded? E.g. in the SNES core, loading Neo Geo games, arcade cores, etc.

Someone made a build to do so, but I dont remember the details, but I have to ask why ? Its a very useful inidcation that the core is doing something.

if that has been updated to support the newest Main changes. Thats the issue with these forks

I recently got a TapTo device and put it into the PC Engine styled 3D printed case. Using NFC cards printed with edge connectors in that case really makes it feel like you’re using actual hardware. I agree that the rom loading on screen is a great indicator that the core is doing something but I figured if there was a way to temporarily disable it through the ini file or something I’d give it a try for a while

Thanks for letting me know, but if this requires and modified main I’ll probably skip it

AFAIK FunkyCohchise keeps it updated inline with Main so there should be no issues
