Very cool! Does this work with the native PC resolution, so whatever custom resolution you set up in the OS gets sent, or does/can it use the MiSTer's scaler somehow?
Edit: I found this video that helps explain it: https://youtu.be/8UGJeTZClFA
It looks like it will be very flexible and allow you to adjust your modelines and either scale to it or one to one crop to it which is great!
it is, but for proper scaling I don't recommand full screen resolution, imo the best is to start a game 640x480 in windowed mode and stream that at 640x480 it looks much better than downscaling or running full screen. It will end up full screen on the crt and looking beautiful. I tried PCEM, Portal, Half Life 2 and even Star Citizen for the giggles and it's really good looking. Even movies on my 28inches looks freaking gooooood.
Also since downscaling isn't great, my advice is to use very strong AA like 8X SMAA while runningg the game at 640/480 or 720/480 it will make any game from the 2010 look CGI like.

Great info, thanks! Yeah, running a specific application in a window and streaming that sounds like the right solution. I was not aware that was an option. I am looking forward to trying this!
Make sure to try PWM version of groovy_mister if you're using analogue io board VGA. Makes big difference on games and videos with a lot of gradients.

Me too! I love Antonio's Mister, the only oversight was the 4 cells memory, but nothing 50$ couldn't fix. I'm definitely gonna try this.

4 cells created timing issues that can mostly be worked around on most cores, but I know the Saturn pretty much didn't work until recently with a 4 cells memory chip module. Antonio stopped usin 4 cells memory a couple of year ago at least, so depending on when you got your Mister from him, you might have gotten a regular memory chip.
