Getting Windows 3.1 Games to Work

Unread post by Vic20-Ian »

I have tried a VHD for Win3.1 and this works well.

I have tried to add an ISO for a CDROM as a second drive but no other drive is showing up.

How can load this game or can I build a new VHD with Win3.1 and this game?

Is the ExoWin collection able to be imported to MiSTer?

Any help appreciated.

You need to setup CD-ROM support in DOS first (see this https://www.jamesfmackenzie.com/2021/03 ... m-support/)

I personally use http://adoxa.altervista.org/shsucdx/ instead of mscdex, and XCDROM instead of OAKCDROM driver, but to each its own

This is a great video to help with Win 3.1 and video, sound and CD setup.

I got FST running - brought back some good memories.
