I thought people might like to see a completed MiSTer build in a new C64X case. I dub this the C64X-G in that the case color attempts to mimic the C64G case. These cases accommodate an mini-ITX motherboard and have very nice cherry MX keyboards. I replaced the stock badge with a reproduction C64G badge from Badgeman. I used an Ironclad Plus mini-ITX "carrier" board from d3fmod; this board provides power input by way of an ATX style molex, USB hub, and analog IO. There is an internal PicoPSU plugged into the Ironclad along with a USB extender to provide 2 USB plugs on the right side like a C64. I 3D printed an IO shield to accommodate the DC barrel jack, and a blank plate for the left side expansion opening. I might eventually re-print this in white, not sure. This also has an internal mt-32pi installed. The tiny fan on back brings cool air in, and the power LED on the top right works as an on/off switch and activates the MiSTer OSD when the unit is turned on. This build feels pretty much like a turnkey, commercial build. All in it's a little pricey, but feels high quality and looks retro.

Re: Commodore C64X-G Build
not if you use a sticker set like this
https://www.amazon.com/4Keyboard-Commod ... B003BOUNSQ
but you probably wouldn't want to put them on your machine since it can be a pain to put them all on straight

Love this - your finsihed build looks beautiful. I have a transparent C64x and I'm thinking about gettting a mister clone and doing this. Thanks for sharing!
