Multiload64 Games Fail To... Well, Load [Solved]

Unread post by vanfanel »

Hi there,

I am trying the OneLoad64 v5 collection on my MiSTer with the latest C64 core.
All OneLoad games work but the MultiLoad64 games, which seem to be tailored for EasyFlash, don't load at all, staying on a black screen after tryin to load them via the "Load *,PRG, CRT, REU, TAP" option on the menu.

I tried several memory expansion, but it makes no difference, apparently.

What's with these? Any ideas?

SOLUTION: DELETE all C64 configuration files.

The EasyFlash crts are working fine with the latest core, just tried it. Make sure you wait a few seconds after you've loaded some of the games.

If it still doesn't work: Make sure you've disabled additional hardware like GeoRAM, REU, hardware speederloader etc. that could come in addresses/IRQ conflict or something.

@Retro-Nerd: I hand't any memory or hardware expansions activated, so I went and deleted the C64* config files under /media/fat/config, and now everything works, they load as expected, thanks!

Unfortunately this does not solve the issue of not being able to save to Flashcarts
