Jotego's SEGA System 18 core

Unread post by Gryzor »

Has anyone gotten Shadow Dancer and Alien Storm to run properly on an arcade cab?
Like always, I’ve copied the files Jotego sent via e-mail, but both games are completely out of sync, displaying only garbage on screen, even on a tri-sync monitor.

I can't help you, but have you tried asking on Jotego's Discord? You might have more luck there.

From jotego's discord some other people are having sync issues, but not everyone. He's looking into it.

Alien Storm runs at a weird refresh rate. My Commodore 1084 syncs fine, but the analog output of this core is still somehow off: it is too bright, very noticable with black background being shown as dark gray.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys.
Just gonna be patient till Jotego’s team tackles the issue then. It’s good to know they’re aware of it =)

I have the same issues on my arcade cabinet running a Nano ms9, no other core has the issue, its just garbage on screen, logged a issue on github for this: https://github.com/jotego/jtcores/issues/874
