Are there any really good new PSX controllers with original style controller plugs?

Re: New PSX Controllers (Not USB)
Not in my experience, and I've looked for many years.
I haven't tried this one yet, but it may be OK...I've had OK luck with Hyperkin in USB-land:

Re: New PSX Controllers (Not USB)
That looks like a good one but it says it's for PS2. Should it work for PS1 too?
Does PSX refer to PS1 or all Playstation consoles?

I found a reddit reply that says the PS2 controller will work with a PS1
YMMV

Re: New PSX Controllers (Not USB)
I've always used a DualShock 2 (the one that came with the PS2) on the PS1. More comfortable IMO than original DualShock. No issues.
The DS2 has pressure sensitivity on all buttons except SELECT and START, but that obviously isn't exploited by any PS1 game.
Re: New PSX Controllers (Not USB)
The PSX was a special DVR edition of the PS2 that never seemed to have left Japan.

PSX was also the codename for the PS/PS1

And the PSone was the slim redesign of the PSX/PS1 because it wasn't confusing enough already.

I have this one but it's out of stock now unfortunately. I backed the kickstarter and waited quite a while, hopefully they make some more.

I love my Brawler64 from Retro Fighters. I wish their Defender was wired to plug in to the PSX.

Re: New PSX Controllers (Not USB)
Any more good choices or is the Hyperkin the way to go?
I'll assume the PSX Reflex Adapt adapter is the right one for the Hyperkin:
