PSX Passthrough?

Unread post by bigbossv »

Is it possible to set the PSX core to passthrough for 480i so my Pixel morph can take care of the deinterlacing with motion adaption?

If you use the analog board as output it will do just that, the motion adaption is only running on the hdmi I'm pretty sure.

I'm pretty sure you can set direct_video=1 in your MiSTer.ini and the Morph can do the rest.

(I haven't watched the video but there are plenty more examples if you search.)

Yeah, that works fine. With direct video enabled (via HDMI) the core outputs the native PSX resolutions, and disables the MiSTer scaler/deinterlacer.
