Amiga Vision: Remap buttons for single games not possible

Unread post by heinzgruber »

Hi,
i'm using Amiga Vision and wonder how i can remap buttons per game. The problem is: I want to play Pinball Illusions with my gamepad but after i do "Define Amiga Buttons" i can't control the left or right flipper or launch the ball. On my keyboad the flipper moves with shift left and shift right and the ball launches with Enter. But when i do a button remap in MiSTer menu the changes are for the whole core and for all games. For example: when i map Enter to launch the ball to D Pad down on my gamepad i can't move down in the Amiga Vision menu. Has anyone an Idea to solve this remap problem?

Thanks

There’s nothing AmigaVision-specific about this. Remapping is done on a per-core level, it can’t detect which game is currently being played.

For a proper, permanent solution, I’d recommend filing a feature request in the issue tracker of the game on WHDLoad and ask for support for the CD32 game pad:

http://mantis.whdload.de

I believe this kind of support already exists for e.g. Pinball Dreams, I do remember at least one of the games in the series supports the shoulder L1/R1 buttons for the flippers.

SlamTilt is working out of the box with L1/R1.
