Console core is NeoGeo_20240418.rbf
Arcade core is NeoGeo-MVS_20220218.rbf

There is no official NeoGeo-MVS so I wonder where you got that from. The NeoGeo core plays both console and arcade versions. There is no need for a 2nd core. It will be a hack someone made and horribly out of date

There was one from blackwine but it was never released to public because sorg didn't allow it.

This hasn't been updated since February 2022. You should use the latest console core.

I liked the BW core because Arcade Organizer would work for NeoGeo games and I didn't have to do anything. I have gone to the official core and link my MVS from;

Code: Select all

/_Games/_Neo Geo MVS & AES/MVS/

to /_Arcade/Neo Geo MVS

I don't get it broken down by the organizer but at least it is still accessible from the _Arcade folder. Saves me a whole 3 seconds (estimated) every time I load an MVS game from another arcade core.

evidently underscore[words]underscore creates italicized text. That is why I needed to use a code block. Sorry if it makes it hard to read.
