Can someone please confirm if the latest update is working correctly? When it boots up I get a Sound Error message.

Thanks!

I just noticed that there are 2 rbfs in the release folder:

Arcade-SlapFight_20220322.rbf Audio pause March 22, 2023 22:44
Arcade-SlapFight_60HZ.rbf Slapfight 60Hz Beta March 26, 2023 18:48

Thanks for pointing that out. So I did a few tests.

Arcade-SlapFight_20220322.rbf doesn't work with my 60Hz Eizo LCD screen, as I get that error message.
Arcade-SlapFight_60HZ.rbf Slapfight 60Hz doesn't boot at all. Actually every time I run this version my LCD screen switches off completely and I have to cycle power my DE-10 to get it up and running again. The first time it happened I thought I had fried my DE-10 after so many tries! False alarm! :D

Well, not a problem at all. I am going to wait for when the 60Hz version will become available.

I get that occasionally too.
Pressing 'reset' in settings a few times fixes it.

I have tried to press the reset button several times but to no avail. I have just submitted an issue on antongale's (@xterc) GitHub page.

For me it definitely don't work all the time but as mentioned before, a few resets (maybe max 4-5 times) gets it working for me.
Just for your information, I'm using this MiSTer from Antonio...

Hey, just to say that it does not seem fixed for me ?
Often on startup i will get a sound error, with sound glitches, But it can also be a memory test failure.
When this happens i tried rebooting up to 10 times to no avail. Even tried hard rebooting the de10.
But then a while later it may start without a problem.

Not experiencing this with Tiger Heli, and both slap fight and Alcon have the same problem (unclear to me if it's the same binary underneath)

I'm using a barebone de10 without sdram. Or heatsink/fan it that's important (but since i've been running ao486 games without a problem i doubt that's the issue)

Now I too have the sound problem with this core. It´s strange, because it worked before.

Maybe it has something to do with the issue, that I recently upgraded my sdram to 3.0?

This core does not need sdram so I don't think it's related

Manually deleting config/nvram/slapfighb1.nvm will allow the core to load successfully once more.

@keikojoe62

I can confirm this. Deleting these .nvm files fixes the problem.
