Started up Parasite Eve yesterday. Loaded up the infinite HP, Infinite ammo, no enemies and haste always cheats. They all worked fine. Issue was when I wanted to turn them off. Went to the OSD, turned them off one by one but kept the cheats enabled toggle on. I was having no enemy encounters while the others seemed deactivated. I then turned off the cheats and turned off the master toggle. Still no enemies. Rebooted the core, cheats off. No enemies. Cold rebooted the MiSTer, restart core and game. Still no enemies.
Is there a reason that cheat is staying persistent other than cheats are use at your own risk?
