Micromachines MD (any version) sound glitch [Solved]

Unread post by Le_Gil »

Hi everyone,

Am I the only to have sound glitches in the Micromachines series ? So unfortunate because unlike the Analogue machine, MisTer can emulate the multiplayer J-cart.

OK, I found the solution : select DD3 in ROM storage option.

Wow, I wish I'd seen this thread sooner :)
I'll be testing that this morning as I really miss the MM games on megadrive

Wow, I was looking for solutions and never tried to switch to DDR3 !!

The issue is identified on the github core :
https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Genesis ... issues/112

I get the same issue with Psycho pinball (on the main screen after the short introduction).
Switching to DDR3 also solved the issue :)

I tried this games on title screen using sdram and at first they sound distorted but after a reset the sound right... And I confirm that with ddr3 they sounds right also from a coldboot.
