In case you haven't heard, FPGAzumSpass has been further working on the core and fixed a bug in his code that fixes the issues with Conker's Bad Fur Day and Star Wars Battle for Naboo (no ROM patches needed). I don't think it is in update_all yet.

Also credit should go to Ruleset who found the issue and proposed a fix

I watched the latest VSE video and he mentioned that a new N64 turbo core has been released. I don't use Discord, so I'd greatly appreciate it if anybody could release the new turbo core here. Thank you.

It should be noted the Core Author says this about the Turbo Core on Discord

it's silly to patch games that don't work with the turbo core just for convenience. The Turbo core was never meant to be used for all games and i can really not recommend it for that. Pesonally I used it less than 10% of the time i play with it. That's about how far i trust it. I only use it if a game is otherwise unplayable for me

So dont rush to the Turbo Core. The Original core is the better way to Play.

I remember reading on the vampier site that Y/C support was in the works for N64. Is that still the case?

I think that's more up to the end user to decide

What's the difference between the original and the turbo core? I mean, what can I see as a player? Is it described somewhere?
https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/N64_MiS ... /README.md doesn't say it.

The Turbo core ups the processor speed at the cost of accuracy.

What's the benefit? More fps? More polygons? More reactivity?
Sorry for my silly question.

More FPS, but thats not how the games were meant to be played. Still some people like it. Personally I dont but each to their own.

Some games will play at a more consistent framerate, some will play at higher framerates, some won't have any benefit at all. There's no harm in trying it out and having fun with it.
