Turbo cores

Unread post by misterrocks »

Which turbo cores are available and is it possible for update_all to manage/update them? I know of the N64 one, PSX, and I read somewhere about one for the In The Hunt arcade core.

There are a lot of Arcade cores with a turbo option. Don't think there is a list though.

PSX, N64, Neo Geo, Irem M92, as well as other Arcade Cores. That is all that I am aware of. Drop an update if you happen to find some more.

Oh wow Blazing Star with less slowdown would be rad. Any tips on finding the Neo Geo and Irem M92 turbo cores?

Is it possible to make update_all download updates for any of these or always manual download for turbo cores?

There aren't separate Turbo cores (except for the Neo Geo, that is mainly for Metal Slug 2) for the arcade games. Just check the core settings for each game/core. There are more games as i said, not just Irem92.

Just a few to check: Toaplan v1/2, or some CPS1/CPS2 games. On Toaplan it's called "68 Freq." where you can select a higher MHz rate for the game.
