Zero wing -- can't map p2 start to actual p2 start button

Unread post by zass »

Hi all,

The zero wing core has an interesting issue. I'm not able to map the p2 start button to the start button on the p2 side. It asks me to map p1 start, which I can do, but then asks for the p2 start button to be mapped, and this button has to be mapped to a button on the p1 controller.

Most other games have the ability for the p2 start button to be on the p2 side.

I've made a video to show what I mean
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jz7EzcB74s

Am I missing something? Is there a way to edit the .mra file to do this? Or is this an issue in the core?

Same problem I have 2 zero delay pcb for USB arcade controls and there are games where the player 2 button is not assigned.

I guess or imagine there has to be a way to set each detected command independently and not mirrored..
