USB Board not working?

Unread post by timbothehero »

I was using my mister a few days ago and all of a sudden the controller stopped responding. I tried other controllers and a keyboard and nothing works. The system boots fine but I am unable to actually navigate any menus.

My suspicion is that my usb board has gone. I am using a 5v mains adapter so don’t think I have smoked the board but something is wrong.

I took some pictures of the mister from all sides to see if there is someone smarter than me that can identify what the lights might be trying to say.

Do I need to get a replacement usb board?

It's very easy to blow the transistor on the USB board. You can replace it or bypass it.

I believe that is not a regular "usb-board" but a variant of the Blisster-board. I don't know how they work compared to the regular usb-board, but according to this post there could be a red light indicating over voltage protection on that board and I see a red light in one of the pictures that seem to be close to a power-socket on that board (second picture posted).
