I've noticed on the RTC 1.3, the extended part has solder pads for a temperature sensor (underside).
So...
1) has anyone actually got a temperature sensor on their board?
2) if there is a sensor in place, does MiSTer actually read the information?
3) can you just add said sensor, and it would work?
BTW - The sensor is listed as AD7415-0 / AD7414-0 / TC74A1-3.3V so only pennies (or cents) to add.

Re: RTC Temperature Sensor
As far as I remember it's not in the code, so even if you added the sensor, it would not function.
I looked up the old posts on the Atari forum

You don't need to solder Temp Sensor. It's optional and currently not used.

Currently there is no software support for temp sensor and i cannot tell if it will be easy to support different addresses or not.

Re: RTC Temperature Sensor
Thanks for the info. Appreciated.
Just intrigued me as to what the solderpad was for initially, so went onto the schematic docs to find out what it was.
