1942 not scaling correctly in vertical position

Unread post by BabaYaga326 »

Anybody else having issues with the 1942 core not scaling so both the top and bottom of the game isn't cut off. I've tried several other games in the vertical orientation and only 1942 is showing the top/bottom (scores, coins entered, etc...) is cutoff.

It is a bug in the game. One of the 'flip' directions is broken in this way.

@zakk4223 that's a different problem. The US version (only) cuts off the top when rotated as the OP indicated.

No, it's the same problem. I just tested it. Changing flip stops the screen from being cut off no matter what orientation you're in.

That isn't what I mean. The problem reported on github is sprite 'splitting'...a very different issue altogether.

I don't see this problem here, no.

It only happens on one specific revision.

This appears fixed on my end with today's Jotego update_all script. Thank you!
