The analog audio out on my analog I/O board from MisterAddons stopped functioning a year after I bought it. More recently, about 2 months ago I bought an analog I/O board from misterfpga.co.uk and while it worked fine at first, the audio now has distracting noise and pops.
What's going on here? None of my other electronics with aux ports have ever had any issues.
Twice now the Analog audio out has become degraded

It's a feature exclusive to the Analog I/O board. My toslink audio works fine on both boards

Can you post a closeup pic of your current analog IO board?
I had one on an older MiSTer, but my current one doesn’t have one for me to look at. I may have some ideas. (I design analog audio and synthesis gear). Worth a shot anyway.

Well there are 6 caps and a resistor network (RN14 or RN17), then directly to pins on the FPGA. On the off-chance it's not one of those passive components, I would say you are damaging the FPGA somehow. Maybe power is feeding back into it somehow from your amplifier/speakers.
