Well that SUCKS. I'd ask which dealer but maybe we shouldn't dig into that core memory any further!
These were crazy times with crazy hopes and dreams... and more than a small share of disappearing cash.

I honestly don't remember the name - it's been out of business for over 25 years now. Computer_Something_...damned if I can remember the something (it wasn't ComputerLand, nor was it a chain...just a single shop). They were really big into Commodore 8-bits and Amiga, right up until they didn't exist. Bought a metric ton of gear from them over a period of about a decade.
EDIT: Triad Computers. They were a registered dealer about as long as Commodore existed. Crazy high prices, but about the only place you could just walk in and buy an Amiga near me.

Phew, I never dealt with them, so can't be blamed. I'd guess they sold what stock they had for pennies on the dollar to a larger competitor. Or at least I saw that a lot.

It seems like the stone cold classic 3001 O'Connor's Fight should be PAL rather than NTSC in AmigaVision. Although if somebody has some deep insight into why not, I'd love to hear it.
