Would be interesting for 2025. Batch 3 stocks longer than thought, so i expect smaller batches and perhaps also an price increase caused by the smaller product runs. But that are only my personal thoughts. 2025 will be a fantastic year for the FPGA Scene with upcomming, MMS2, replay2, and the playstation style console. Many choices for the users with the existing MMS, ironclad for Mister Pi and the Qmtech clone.

So, digital sound is coming out of the 3.55mm and then sort sort of converter to analog 3.5mm jack, then

a) I can plug it into my amp
b) when I want to use CRT, I'll get sound.

?

What a faff, anyone know of any cheap things that'll do the job? (with links)

Help! Thanks all.

:)

This is what I'm using for years, no issues.

Also a cable like this is what you need to connect it to the mister

Thank you very much!!!!!!!

I sort of got the converter, but the cable had me baffled, so thanks for clarifying it!!!

EDIT, ordered, delivery tomorrow. Just in time for the weekend!

Mine came in the mail two days ago. Up way too late putting it all together...worth it :mrgreen:

The USB board and SNAC were both shipped in the same box, with no padding or bags to keep them from smashing into each other during shipping. And sure enough, the SNAC managed to dislodge two SMD components from the USB board: one bypass cap (vanished into the ether) and a USB power switching FET (luckily spotted this one lying on my bench). I was able to re-solder the FET...and what's one bypass cap, more or less? Seems to work fine.

To RetroRemake's credit, they FedEx'ed me a replacement board within 48 hours, no questions asked. But still, it's quite a rookie mistake to pack boards loose like this. I bet I'm not the only one...hopefully the freebie pack-ins get some bubble wrap next time.

I bought the turbo version and it came assembled in a white box. Aside were the snac and the level converter and the usb cable. Each was packed in a protective kind of paper.

My trinitron simply turns off when I select either of these wonderswan and wonderswan color cores.

I just got my mister pi, I connect via component on my crt.

All cores working fine except those. :shock:

What might be happening and what can I do to fix this?

A friend of mine has purchased a MiSTer Pi and I have it in my hands for a while. Anyone had issues with the Neo Geo console core?

Every now and then, when I launch the Neo Geo core, games come up with no audio, does not happen every time but seems to be quite frequent. Happens even from cold boot. Usually I would just relaunch the core and then sound would come back.

Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Thanks!

PS Happens both with HDMI and analogue audio

The proper refresh rate of this core is 75Hz. There is an OSD option to switch to 60Hz for compatibility with displays that cannot do 75Hz. You might have to connect a hdmi display to see the OSD menu and change the setting.

See https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/WonderS ... /README.md for details.

Didnt work. It was already set to 60hz in both ws and wsc cores.

What else should I check?

I just tested it again. It works fine for me using the older analog board when set to 60Hz. So maybe there is some incompatibility with the new analog board?

could you share your mister.ini file? I would like to see if there is any option set that could make the difference.

My setup is rather unique, with two analog monitors connected (1084 on the analog port, and a SVGA monitor using a hdmi->vga adapter). So my ini file is rather messy with a lot of special cases for optimal display on my SVGA monitor and would not be helpful.

But: The only settings that are relevant for the analog output are:

Code: Select all

forced_scandoubler=0
vga_mode=rgb
composite_sync=1
vga_scaler=0
direct_video=0

Hi everyone, my mister pi batch2 slide switch sw0 is set to 1, contrary to that shown on attachment where all switches are set to 0. I don't know whether it is normal or not. Any idea?
Thanks in advance.
