FDD does not work properly when using 8086bios with PCXT_20230120.rbf or later release versions.
The point of change from PCXT_20230114 to PCXT_20230120 should be investigated.

I am not sure why, but I set Hercules Graphics to "No" and it (DOS setup) works now.
That's what I was going to say, that I didn't know exactly how the problem was reproduced. Tested with micro8088 BIOS and the latest version:

Perhaps it is an issue that occurs when booting with the setup disk and transitioning to the setup screen.

Can you make a short video showing the problem with FDD?
