Is there any Roland MT-32 FPGA core?

Hi,

As many of the older participants of this board, I have migrated from a MiST FPGA to the MiSTer and the MiST is now gathering dust in a corner.

Considering that the MiST already has MIDI ports included, it would be the perfect candidate to re-purpose as a Roland MT-32, should such a core exist.

Does anyone have knowledge of such a core being developed?

Cheers,

I believe binarybond007 is working on this, if i understand you correctly. I think these have guides somewhat...

These are different from what I was looking for.

The videos are comparing an Original MT-32 with a Raspberry Pi emulated one, it just happens they're using MiSTer to run the games.
The other links you shared are about the MidiLink, the component that allows MiSTer to connect to a MIDI device (Original hardware or otherwise).

I was looking for an FPGA implementation of the MT-32.

Thanks anyway.
