MSX2 Core and games using Overscan (Sex Bomb Bunny)

Hello,
I'm curious about a specific game for MSX2 using overscan: Sex Bomb Bunny by Matra.
In the actual core, not only the picture is cropped on the bottom but for some weird reason controls stop working when the game start. You can see the attract mode but you can't play.
The very same disk image used on real MSX2 hardware (with MegaFlashRom SCC+SD) works flawlessly. To be precise, in both cases i placed the files in a folder and have them start with SofaRun, but even with plain MSXDOS results won't vary: it works in real HW (controls and overscan), it doesn't on the Mister FPGA core.
Did anybody had the chance of trying Sex Bomb Bunny on the MiSTer and have it working? Is there some option I'm missing? (I really tried all the combinations).
Despite the misleading name, its really just a terrific Amidar clone with a zany Sigue Sigue Sputnik kind of vibe in its lore. So good.
Thanks!
B.
