Has anyone tried Windows Embedded POSReady 2009?

Won't work. Minimum requirement is a Pentium II.
Supported Operating System
Windows Embedded POSReady 2009
To install and use Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 on your POS system, you need:
PC with Pentium II 233-MHz or faster processor
64 MB of RAM (with Virtual Memory enabled); 512 MB recommended*
520 MB of available hard disk space**
VGA or higher resolution monitor; 1024 x 768 display recommended

Haven't run that version of Windows, curious what it would get you for 486 era software though?

Point of sale.
As good as a Windows can be, ie. if you just use it to load a well programmed application, it's fine. If you tinker more into the system, you quickly wish Apple made a posOS.
