Super-Hang On sprite display issue with sprite limit option

I noticed some sprite display issue with Super-Hang On played on sega genesis core when I set the sprite limit option to high.
The signs on the side of the road are visible across the hill. You can see it very well in the turns.

  • Rom name : Super Hang-On (World) (En,Ja) (Rev A).md (come from "MegaSD - Mega EverDrive 2020-06-04" rom pack)
  • Genesis core version : Genesis_20200701.rbf (but this glitch happened with older cores too).

Isn't this why there's a toggle to turn it off? Same with the turbo option.
