4K amp to 4K tv colour and scaling issue

Alrighty! I wonder if any of you kind folks will be able to offer me some advice, I’m connecting my MiSTer to a 4K tv via my Amp which upscales the 1080p image to 4K, the reason I do this is because it does a better job at upscaling the image, much sharper!
The problem is when I turn on the upscaling the screen sort of looks like it’s zoomed in to the top left side and the colours are off too, is there a setting I’m missing somewhere?
I’ve included a couple of pics to show what’s going on
You can see something is strange with the wallpaper stretched and the MiSTer menu being off centre
