Ms. Pac-Man Core, help with speedup hack
Posted: Mon May 25, 2020 5:28 pm
Hello, new friends!
I'm having a great time with my MiSTer setup, but one of my main reasons for building it was to get a solid Ms. Pac-Man core running with the speedup hack. I haven't been able to get it to work so far. The normal speed Ms. Pac-Man runs perfectly.
I have tried several different combinations of files, with .zip archives including the pacfast.6f file included but none of them will pass the md5 check and/or run. And when I try to use md5 on my Mac and other Linux systems to create the proper hashes to add to a new .mra file, I can't seem to get anything to work either.
Does anyone have any experience getting Ms. Pac-Man to run with the speedup hack enabled?
I can share additional details of my files and configuration if that will help you point me in the right direction.
Thanks!!
