NeoGeo roms problem

I've got the Darksoft rom set, the latest NeoGeo core and all the required bios files and the uni bios. Now most of the games work, things like baseball and Blazing Star. But games like all the Metal Slugs, Shock Troopers and Neo Turfmaster, the games I really want to play don't work. I just get a white screen after it tries to load the rom. Is there something I am missing that these games need to run?

Do you have the 128mb RAM module?

just tested said roms and they load without any issues for me, so it could be that your roms might be bad and you need to get new ones.
if you run from SD then maybe try another SD card (preferably new one?) to see if it's not just bad blocks on the SD card?

Ok thanks. I'll try some new roms. The SD card is brand new.

I've had a look at the folder on the card and it seems that some of the files didn't transfer over. The games that weren't working all had empty folders. I've got them working now. Thanks for your help. Sorry to be a pain.

no worries, though checking for the most ovbious can save you a lot of headaches!
