Any 5ghz Wifi compatible dongles that can be used?

As above - ive switched off the 2.4ghz range on my router....anyone using one?

Cool - does that need any manual adjustment in the scripts to get it to work or is it just like the ones on the certified list?

I've used 5ghz but had mixed results. My USB board doesn't have the extra jumper connections that MisterAddons' does though, so I now suspect that is part of the problem with mine. I eventually went and did this out of frustratin and having a spare raspberry pi or two laying around -

I can also confirm the EW-7822ULC, Edimax AC1200 works without any issues. I just needed to add the network name and password and everything just works as expected.
