Hello,
after a couple of month I updated the MiSTer via update-all, which worked out ok as usual. After resetting there are two revisions of the system shown in the start screen, MISTERer v201213, OS 200908 (the one from which I started). There was no error message. What I did, I replaced the updater file in the /scripts section "update_all.sh". But still the same after starting the update-all script again. What does this mean? Or is this just normal and I didnt notice before.

Re: After MiSTer OS Update there are two revisions shown
That's most likely because there are two files you update on the root of your SD card:
1) MiSTer firmware file
https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_Mi ... r/releases
(latest release: Dec 13 2020)
2) MiSTer menu core
https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Menu_Mi ... r/releases
(latest release: Sep 8 2020)
When I first started using the MiSTer, I didn't have it connected to the Internet, so I had to update both of those files manually... I guess if you use the updater script, then you never realize that those are two separate things that are updated independently.

Re: After MiSTer OS Update there are two revisions shown
Thank you so much, thats exactly what I was wondering about. I did use the update-all updater the whole time, so I always wondered about these two numbers, where there actually only is "1" OS. So both are correct installed, right?
Re: After MiSTer OS Update there are two revisions shown
Yes, there are two things. One is the MiSTer file and one is the linux OS itself. The menu core (menu.rbf) is independent of both but usually gets updated from time to time as well.

Thank you,
is that correct that not every .sh file also has a .ini file?
