Vic-20 sound distortion

Thanks for adding me to the forum!

I get sound distortion on the Vic-20 core; the volume seems far too loud.

Is this a known issue or is it just me?

Try Going left on the core menu and dropping the output volume.

I just tried Jetpac and it sounds fine to me.

What were you running on the Vic?

I just tried it, but it made no difference.

The distortion heard is an exaggeration of the Vic-20's inter-channel-modulation distortion to the point that it's unlistenable.

The game I tried was my own Pooyan, but it occurs on many titles.

nippur72 has provided a temporary fix for this over on the denial forum for anyone interested.
