Gyro support for controllers

I know gyro functionality has been added to the core, but it’s mapped to an analog stick.
Is there any way to use gamepads that support gyro (like the DS4, DualSense, Steam and Switch controller) and have them work with the tilt sensor?

This would need to be added in the Mister Main.
Not sure who else than Sorgelig is able to do handle that.
At least i'm not aware it's planned currently.

Right now what cores would this be relevant to? Gameboy / GBA with specific mappers? I guess warrio ware is a thrilling game for you. I hope you don't break your duelsense playing those crazy minigames.

Maybe including gyro could also be useful for paddle and/or trackball games. I'm no expert on the precision required for inputs on either and how feasible and translatable a gyro control to either controller type would be.

I see. I'll try starting a thread in another forum, then.
Regarding the use of gyro controls, I was thinking about the WarioWare games, indeed, which is why I posted here. But they can be extremely useful for other applications, like light gun games (which, as I understand, support the Wii remote) and even paddle/trackball titles, as suggested.
It's also a somewhat decent alternative to mouse input, at least on PC.I definitely recommend checking out the
Gyro Wiki, by JibbSmart.
