Wallpaper not showing on CRT over VGA > Component / IO board

Unread post by Jimiga »

Hi everyone, and Happy New Year!

I have my MiSTer connected to an NTSC Toshiba CD, via Component cable from the analogue out on the standard IO board.

Works great! Only my wallpaper doesn't show, only the rolling static noise video that plays as stock. Searched the forum and can't quite find an answer that works for me.

Here's my .ini

From what I've read, I need to adjust my video scaler to =1, but when I do so, I get the garbled image on my screen shown.

Are there other settings in my ini that also need editing?

Thanks!

Leave vga_scaler=0 and set direct_video=1. That should do it.

May I ask, what it that thing that your MiSTer case is sitting on?
