Hi all, I have a 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ that worked fine in the past.

But now, no matter what I do I cannot pair correctly the controller to the Mister. Even if I put the controller in Windows mode and then pair with Mister the controller gets paired, has the left led light up but it doesn't work.

I also always get the following message after paring:

Connecting...
Trusting...
Done.
Add to trust list...
Connecting...
Error org.bluez.Error.AlreadyConnected: Already Connected
Done.
Press any key to continue

I tried several times:
- I flashed a new image on Mister
- I tried with a x360 controller (USB and Bluetooth)
- I tried with the 8BitDo by USB

and nothing! I I cannot have the controller(s) working. Can you help me?

Try to re-assign the buttons in Menu core.

It worked! I had to "redefine Joystick buttons" on the main menu. I tried to do that in the past but the first two items are to test the dpad, maybe to detect(?) which controller we are using? Because I didn't understood these first steps I didn't continue to the part that I assigned the rest of the buttons.

Would it be possible to associate a pre-configured setup for this controller? on the pairing step the Mister sees a 8BitDo SN30 Pro+: would it be possible to create a pre-configuration based on the type of controller?

I think with X-input mode the Dpad isn’t registered, which will confuse people when they’re asked to press the Dpad when mapping controllers, and nothing happens (just push another button and it’ll register, and you can use the other buttons, but the DPad buttons are dead in X-input mode - at least for me).
In D-input mode all buttons are registered and everything works intuitively.
So I’d recommend using D-input mode. A cool side-effect to switching modes between D/X-input is that the controller gets a different HID ID, so you can quickly switch between two different button/stick mappings on the fly (just pause, reset controller to different mode, and unpause).
