Main Screen shows black bars on top and bottom when using integer scaling in 1080p.

I just noticed this, but when I use integer scaling via 1080p the Main Menu will not completely fill the screen vertically, is this normal? The cores themselves work as intended, just weird how the home screen is displaying.

Edit: This only happens in 1080p, if I use 720p the image will fill vertically.

Hmmm, I guess its normal because I toggled on a background via 1080p integer scaling and its displaying correctly, I guess its just the default snow image that does this.

Yup, it's normal. I was weirded out by it too at first, but it appears that the rendering of the snow is in 240p or 480p

Yeah, I noticed this too just the other day in fact. Originally I thought an update might have caused it - then I realised the only change i'd made is switching integer scaling on in full. If I change it to 25%, 50%, or off the 'snow' will display full screen (running 1080p).

Above explanation makes total sense as to why it behaves like this, thanks for clarifying.
