Updater Script Not Starting

I've been trying to get my Neo Geo core up and running, and thought I needed to run the updater script to solve an issue. When I went to run it, however, the updater script wouldn't start. Instead it'd just hang on a blank screen with a blinking cursor.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

How are you connected to the internet, Wifi or Wired?
And when you mister first boots up does it detect the internet or not?

How did you put the script on your SD?

You probably need to set fb_terminal=0 in the mister.ini file.
Having it set to 1 prevented the update scripts from running on my CRT setup.

Iā€™m connected via WiFi and my mister does detect the internet.

Is the update.sh script in the Scripts folder? How about fb_terminal value (see above)?

The update.sh script is in the Scripts folder, and I changed the fb_terminal value to 0, but that didn't fix anything.

A few other notes that may help. I did run it once successfully when I was originally setting everything up. Now any script I try to run just sits on the black screen with a blinking cursor. No button combination can get me out of that screen either.

Thanks for all the help so far, everyone!
