How to save bios settings to Japanese?

I use the Unibios settings to change system to Japanese/Arcade (or AES), but everytime it reverts back to "Europe". Is there a way to make this permanent so I can play the uncensored version without having to switch system region every time?

I had the same problem. I changed it to mvs (arcade) in the osd and after that the unibios settings saved for me. I also have sram autosave on, don’t know if that helps.

hi I can help with that here's my neogeo save folder where I launched EVERY title and made the adjustments to make it Japanese and Arcade and even unlocked when possible blood or violence
this works with the darksoft set, just copy and paste in the right folder

So I just tried it, copied them in /media/fat/saves/NEOGEO but did not work. Did I do something wrong? Thanks!
