Old Sun, SGI, DEC?

Is there any chance at all for implementations of old SGI workstations like the IRIS 1400, Next computer, old Sun workstations.. things like that? Seems mostly m68k based + weird interconnects to me but I may be wrong. Is anyone working on these? Would DEC VAX or even Alpha fit?

Grabulosaure made some work-in-progress cores that can boot SunOS and NeXT. I wasn't able to get them working, but I didn't try super hard either, was mostly curious if I could get NeXT up and running. I'm sure someone here on the forum knows more. 😊

I have run Solaris SUNOS and Linux on the respected Grabulosaure's Sparc core. I really hope that he will release them in source codes.
Also i am debugging PDP-11 core port for Mister.

Just in case, let me mention that the BK0011M CPU is PDP-11 compatible.

Would love to try some of that. Care to point me in the right direction?

I wouldn't mind a symbolics LM-2 with a Space Cadet keyboard. A sparc machine would be interesting. I don't know where the limit would be but possibly easier to have these RISC machines replicated on FPGA than the complex CISC platform like the AO486 core.
