Just one stupid question:
Are the lights supposed to be green and red, while the mister is running?

If you have the analog IO board v6.1 you can cut this trace on the underside of the circuit board, this will disable all three coloured status LED's to enable them again you will need to bridge the trace again.
On the boards I build, I just cut the trace and install a 2 pin header on the top side of the PCB and add a jumper cap, this allows for quick and simple enable/disable of your IO board status LEDs when needed.
