Pacman Refresh Rate

The latest Pacman core seems to be running at bang on 60.0Hz rather than 60.60606Hz. Is this by design (a good thing IMHO) and if so is it possible for it to be built into all arcade cores with off spec refresh rates so that play nicer with LCD TVs? The Irem M62 seems to have just such a feature letting you clock the games to 50Hz in the OSD.

You can always use vsync_adjust 0 or 1 to let the game run at your displays refresh rate.

I prefer to run everything vsync_adjust=2 where possible. Jotego recently polled on twitter whether re-clocking cores to exactly 60.0Hz was desirable. I was of the opinion that if it didn't break any other logic then it would be a good thing. Best to have it as an option which the Irem M62 core does indeed have.

I'd hope for it to be a toggle, original frame rates are desirable for both pure conservation and competitive play/practice.

Definitely a toggle.

Original frequency should always be an option.

Depending on the board, the Original frequency isn't always compatible even on some CRTs.
