Since few updates, the C64 core no run fine. The D64 images don't load at all.
Before, its work. Any issues?
Thanks in advance for help.

Hi JayBlood,
Are you the JayBlood from AI ? If yes, nice to see you here as well !
Regarding your issue, this is weird, I'm using the last core from the 21th of May and no issue at all to load .D64 images.
Have you your Main up to date ?
Thanks and regards,
Kathleen.

Also check to make sure you have the Dolphin and speed dos roms from
https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/C64_MiS ... r/releases
The core defaults now to using the Dolphin Dos rom

Hi, Kathleen. Yes; it's me.
Nice to see you here too.
I have the last main updated. Before core updates, (with Core manager script) old C64 core worked very fine.
(sorry for my horrible english; Lol.)
@FPGA64: Already have them, but maybe not in right place on SD card. Here, in C64 folder.

When you boot the core does it say DolphinDos in the text on the screen ?
I just choose the image
Hit shift and esc
and it loads.

No, is the real C64 boot.
Shift Esc invite me to insert tape.
Edit: I try to change in setup "Loadable C64", the others dos roms works, but the core freeze when I load a D64 image. With both custom dos roms.
It's the same problem I have with standard C64 rom.

Hi Jay,
Yes, it corresponds to Shift Run/Stop on a real C64 to load tape.
This is really strange what happens on your side. I checked again yesterday with std rom, load"*",8,1 works fine, with the custom roms, a simple load do the job.
I've maybe a stupid question but how did you transfer the new core to your Mister ? By making an update on the mister or via filezilla for instance ?

yes Shift esc on a Stock C64 will load a tape. On the default Dolphin Dos though it will load a disk.
On the Stock C64 it will take an age to load anything from disk. The 1541 Disk drive was horribly slow. So it may just be a horribly slow loader that makes it look like the C64 has hung. Other possibility is a duff disk image but I expect its one you used before without issue ?
Its also a bit strange its booting to the normal C64. The default for the core is with Dolphin Dos now.
That suggests you have an old config file for the core in your config directory.

Done for the update! I manually put the last core on my SD card, it work now. All the configurations work with D64, many incompatibilities with Dolphin and Speed dos, but no problems. Many thanks!
