When is the CPS 2 Released how many games to go ?

It's very close. The last games afaik are Super Street Fighter II Turbo and Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition. I'd say about 2 weeks from now it'll go public, maybe a month at the latest.

Actually the games still missing are just three: Armored Warriors/Powered Gear (which was today confirmed coming on Friday), and both Takumi shmups i.e. Giga Wing and Mars Matrix.

HSFII may be considered by some as being somewhat 'non-canonical', as it was released beyond CPS II's commercial lifespan; an hommage of sorts. It's of course welcome

oh, and a couple of mahjong games and unreleased prototypes no one cares about

CPS2 catalog alone is worth the MiSTer price of admission.

Just so no one gets confused: the core is still beta/patreon-only. There is no public release yet.

There are also some updates for public cores, some of them downloaded only if beta is enabled.

Would you please let me know how to pull these updates? I have run the Jotego updater but to no avail. Am I supposed to run the update manually from GitHub? Thanks!

The update seems not to have been pushed yet: nothing new on Github jtbin.

You can use this for now, it's the final release candidate which he already made public awhile ago. It's the one that still has some of the bugs he was working to address regarding the 68k I think.

20210618 is a 'shareware' core for me, requires beta.zip

Just wait for the public release.

It looks like it is done but the update script did not work for me. I have everything on USB drive and use symlinks on the SD card which could be the cause.

Do you have it configured to look for 'beta' or 'stable' jt cores? It's only in jtbin which is 'beta'

Yes, I just figured it out, the core is still in beta but is public.

It's public since an hour or so. Just download the files and replace previous rbf and mra.
