I really enjoy making these comparisons because I get asked a LOT if MiSTer can really keep up with original hardware.

Sega CD core is damn impressive on that front. Plus it's a beginners setup guide so maybe it'll help some new people down the line!

Nice vid. I guess some of the differences could come down to the output being HDMI vs scart and settings such as sound levels. I have to say I preferred the look and sound of the MiSTer myself. I have the model 1 Mega CD but only a few games for it, but lots on the MiSTer.

I do need to look at the Mega CD core more, but right now I can't get enough of those sweet CPS2 arcade games

The Sega CDX is terribly flawed and one of the worst way to play Genesis/CD games
