Update Scripts

Hello,

n00b with MiSTer, and hoping the community can help me. Thank you.

I have the Update and Update All scripts to my MiSTer.

However, I prefer to have a curated list of games and cores in my MiSTer instead of having everything downloaded.

How do I edit the Update or Update All scripts to only

1. update the cores that I have downloaded to my system instead of downloading all missing cores
2. do not download all MRA files for all cores
3. download only the relevant MAME ZIP files for the MRA files that I have
4. do not create the folders for the computer and console cores I do not want in the Games folder

Also, am I allowed to edit the MRA filenames in the _Arcade folder?

When you run the update all script if you press up when it first starts it'll take you to an option menu from there you can adjust the settings to how you like regarding downloads. You can turn off alternatives for mra's for instance if you don't want all the variants.

Edited the update_all.ini by disabling everything except Main Updater, Jotego Updater, and MAME Getter.

It's working roughly as expected, although I still can't prevent the Main Updater from downloading the cores I do not want.
