Hello,
I admit i really want to see irem m92 on the mister . But it seems the interest for this is low... in the topic about the what system people want to see, i don't remember seeing much interest for more irem machines.
We already have irem m62, is there any news for more ?

Confirming that M92 will come some time before 2025.

MiSTer can simply not be considered a viable gaming platform until we have R-Type!

Irem M72/82/84 would be the next "logical" step as there's a few modules/cores in HDL already for some of what this uses. M92 also has a ym2151, so Jotego's JT51 is already done on that front.

However, the Irem boards from 72 on have lots of custom chips and those can be troubling to figure out most of the time for devs from my limited understanding.

JT mentioned on Twitter awhile back when he got some new boards he would be working on that one was IREM, off hand the games were R-Type, Legend of Hero Tonma, Ninja Spirit. Not sure what else is on that board, or similar.
