I have done some more reading which would indicate this has been looked into pretty deeply for Gorf, and it is just not gonna happen.. I can deal with that, Centipede is the one that I would love to see tackled first, followed by Lady Bug.. I know there is an author out there working on Millipede and has plans to fix Centipede too in the process, maybe share some updates??

Having set up a CRT TV on its side for TATE gaming, i found many games that cannot be flipped 180degrees.

I hope devs include that option sometime in the future.

Newer jotego cores even include H-V adjust for the screen.. thats a great feature!

Alanswx has experience doing this for quite a few cores, maybe he would like to take a stab at it. I think Jimmystones has done this a few times too, but I could be wrong. There's a lot of arcade cores that just need general framework updates regularly anyways. It's not super easy to do all the time though.

Not me, but BlackWine has done a few now I think. I have a vague memory of hearing that JaguarLV was working on the millpede/centipede stuff though.

It's not always easy or possible to do (without adding a framebuffer and the dreaded lag that is ), depends a lot on the architecture of the board.

I still enjoy these games.. But putting them in Cocktail Mode, and just letting player 1 die, it does get a bit old.. Last count I had like 47 games setup on my dedicated vertical cabinet, these 3 are the ones that are upside down, for me.. It is not the end of the world, just like to toss it out there once in a while and see if any smart people want to take a stab at it..

Given that these games flip for cocktail play it should be possible to patch the rom to setup the screen for P1 to display the same as P2 but it is beyond my coding.

I might try in a Mame forum and see if anyone can help as it does not seem to interest many folks here.

I would very much like a vertical flip option for these cores as well. But I understand that it might take some advanced trickery if it is even possible at all.
