This is probably a MiSTer issue rather than an ao486 issue, but my 486 core isn't showing up in my core list. From what I can tell, it's the only one. I FTPed into the MiSTer, and the rbf file is there, as are the ao486 folders. I've run the updater script, and no changes. Not really sure what else to do here.
Any suggestions?

Try deleting that core and re-downloading it? Sometimes downloads get corrupted.
(And I assume the core isn’t in the list of cores not to show in the MiSTer.ini file)

Tried deleting it and reinstalling. Didn't work.
I checked the .ini file and the core is not listed there (and I didn't even know that was an option lol).

the ao486_20210630.rbf is definitely in the _computer folder?
sounds silly but are you using the names.txt option therefore the ao486 core appears in the list as something else like 'IBM PC Compatible'?

The music is reversible but time is not. Turn back. Turn back

That was it. It obviously had to be something simple.
Thanks everyone.
